About the domain test
The website test examines whether your website meets modern internet standards for security and accessibility. We check whether your domain can be reached via a modern IPv6 address, whether it is signed with DNSSEC, whether the connection is protected with properly configured HTTPS, and which security settings are activated in the browser of your visitors.
The test usually takes 30-60 seconds, and the result is displayed as a total score with specific recommendations for what you can improve.
What is tested?
- Modern Internet Address (IPv6) — whether name servers and web server are reachable via IPv6.
- Signed domain (DNSSEC) — whether your domain is signed with a valid signature.
- Secure Connection (HTTPS) — certificate, TLS version, ciphers, HSTS and key exchange.
- Security Options — HTTP headers like X-Frame-Options, CSP and security.txt.
- Route Authorization (RPKI) — whether routing to your servers is cryptographically validated.
